Lily Sheeran, one of the founder members of Borris-in-Ossory ICA Guild is remembered in An Griánan with a lovely tree she donated in 2013, just beside the main entrance. Her daughter Helen, her son Canice and the Guild President Mary Sheeran installed a lovely new plaque beside the tree to replace the original wooden one last Saturday!
Well done to you all! We will all be there remembering Lily when we attend Laois Week next month.
Lily was responsible for introducing many of us to the ICA for which she will always be fondly remembered.
